Welcome to Richmond Speaks
Dancing in the streets
It would seem that this is exactly what Chesterfield wants. The county has started enforcing a law that says you can't have dancing in a bar. They say that the problem is the fights that break out every weekend. Richmond Speaks understands that the fights are not in the restaurants, which means that the business owners have little or no control over these incidents.
Police say "Bad behavior and public safety -- not dancing -- is the issue". If that's the case, then why can't the county ban bad behavior and encourage public safety.
What gives, Chesterfield? Henrico, and Richmond don't seem to have a problem with dancing, why do you?

Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi recently spoke about the proposed stimulus program. "...every month we go without a plan, 500 million people lose their jobs". Would somebody tell Ms Pelosi that the entire population of the United States is only about 300 million.
